Bob Wild Grass Machinery (BWGM) is very much a family run business, dealing with many of its customers on a personal level.

After more than 15 years' in the professional machinery industry and, prior to that, many years experience in the agriculture sector, Bob Wild established a Garden Machinery business in his home town of Halifax in 1997.

Already well-known to many Greenkeepers and Groundsmen, the business soon flourished and, within a short space of time, more mechanics and stores' personnel were employed.

Many sales are generated through recommendation or repeat business to existing customers. The company's policy of supplying the correct machinery to meet its customers' requirements pays dividends; this involves many on-site calls to give advice and ensure the correct machine is purchased for the job in hand. This service is offered free of charge, no matter whether you are a small domestic customer or a premier division football club.

From May 2005 the business moved premises to a much larger, more modern facility, now with ample showroom and a large customer parking area. The task of purchasing a lawnmower or tractor has been made much easier.
